Zoom B2 Bass Multi-Effects Pedal

The fundamental frequencies of an electric bass are about 40 to 600Hz, but harmonics go all the way up to the ultrasonic frequency range. Many conventional pedal effects make the low end sound thin and lifeless. This usually is not only because of insufficient response in that range, but also because the harmonics are not handled properly.

The B2 series from ZOOM makes such problems history. 24-bit resolution and a sampling frequency of 96 kHz ensure signal processing power on a par with the best rack-mount devices. The dynamic, wide-range bass signal retains its full impact, and the result is clear, powerful sound that remains a distinct presence also when playing in a band ensemble.

Acoustic Effect

Zoom A3 Pre Amp Acoustic Guitar Effects Pedal

The Zoom A3 Pre Amp Acoustic Guitar Effects Pedal has presets for 16 body types and 28 models to restore the original sonic characteristics of acoustic guitars that pickups cannot capture. By selecting the body and model type that match your acoustic guitar, you can share its beautiful, rich tone with audiences when playing live.
* The acoustic remodeling function restores original guitar tone that is not captured by pickups. This is not a simulator that creates a variety of guitar sounds from a single guitar. In order to get the right tone, select the body type and model type that match the guitar you are using. (We recommend the use of M1 Active pickups made by L.R. Baggs.)
* If you cannot find body and model types that match the guitar you are using, use ones that are as close as possible. Be aware that combinations of body and model types that do not exist in reality will not produce suitable tones.
* The actual guitars that were used in the development of the acoustic remodeling function are shown in the photograph above.

Zoom A2.1u Acoustic Guitar Multi-Effects Pedal/USB Interface

The rich, detailed tone of an acoustic guitar is created by a delicate triple harmony of strings, neck, and body. But a piezo or magnetic pickup never captures the full body resonance, often resulting in thin sound dominated by the strings. This tendency can't be fully compensated with a conventional preamp equalizer.

The A2 series incorporates 24-bit / 96 kHz sampling and sophisticated sound modeling technology to process the line signal from the pickup, adding a lush body tone and the spatial ambience that is created by mic recording. Even when playing through an amplifier or PA speaker, the resonance of the guitar body is restored, allowing the natural acoustic sound to shine through.
